Electrician – Clean Agent & Fire Alarm Systems
Location: Kokomo, Indiana
Job Type: Temporary | 2-Month Assignment
Pay: $35–$40 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to support the installation of clean-agent fire suppression and fire alarm systems for a temporary project assignment in Kokomo, Indiana.
The ideal candidate has strong electrical installation experience, is comfortable working with small-diameter stainless steel tubing, and can safely complete wiring and conduit work according to project drawings, electrical codes, and NFPA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Bend and install 3/8-inch stainless steel tubing for clean-agent fire suppression systems
- Install flexible conduit for fire protection control panels
- Run, pull, terminate, and connect electrical wiring
- Complete wiring installations according to project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
- Read and follow electrical and mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and installation instructions
- Maintain compliance with NFPA standards and project safety requirements
- Coordinate installation activities with supervisors, team members, and other trades on-site
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements
- Valid electrician license or proven experience working as a journeyman or master electrician
- Experience with fire alarm, fire protection wiring, conduit installation, or related systems is strongly preferred
- Ability to bend and install small-diameter stainless steel tubing
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Ability to follow project specifications, installation procedures, and safety requirements
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with other trades
- Reliable transportation to the project site in Kokomo, Indiana
