HVAC Service Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repair work throughout the Atlanta metro area.
This position will primarily focus on residential HVAC systems, with some work involving light commercial and multifamily equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and capable of diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and performing preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose, service, and repair air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and related HVAC equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system tune-ups
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
• Complete service work in residential homes, multifamily properties, and light commercial environments
• Clearly communicate system findings and recommended repairs to customers and property managers
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Manage service calls efficiently and complete work in a timely manner
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable industry standards
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC service experience
• Residential HVAC service experience is required
• Light commercial or multifamily HVAC experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
• Strong work ethic and professional customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Compensation and Benefits
• $30 – $38 per hour, depending on experience
